"Living with the New Tax Laws - What You Need to Know Now"
Come and learn about the complex and all new tax laws from 2019 and 2020, both for the IRS and IL, and questions many of us have about preparing taxes, including the Stimulus payments, the all new forms - again, and expanded credits for children, education, and retirement savings.
Judi will also discuss important deductions such as medical and child care – and common tax problems, including IRA withdrawals, charitable contributions, sales of a stock or mutual funds, home sales, income from an estate or trust, and taxable Social Security – as well as the increasingly problematic issue of identity theft and false tax returns.
And, finally, find what the IRS and IL are up to – with their working remotely, issues of identity theft and customer service, increased matching of income items, active pursuit of non filers and audits of filed returns.
