Legal Policy

Pursuant to federal regulations imposed on tax professionals who offer tax advice (Circular 230), we are required to advise you that any advice contained herein is not intended to be used for the purposes of avoiding tax penalties that may be imposed by the IRS.

Privacy Policy

All personal and financial information received or retained is kept confidential and secure. Strauss Tax Service (STS) does not share any data or information with external sources.

• STS only discusses tax information with the Internal Revenue Service or the Illinois Department of Revenue with a signed Power of Attorney from the client.
• STS will provide information concerning tax and/or financial situation to persons and organizations in accordance with certified written approval.
• STS restricts access to your personal and tax records to those employees of Strauss Tax Service assigned to each client account.
• STS maintains both paper and computer back up files which are secured on STS premises only.
