Debra Evans, E. A. has been preparing taxes for individuals, small businesses and estates and trusts since 1994.  She has worked with a full range of tax clients and finds each return a challenge, always different, always fascinating.  She prides herself on accuracy and works to offer personalized service and accurate up to date information to all clients.

In addition, Debbie has solved numerous issues/problems that clients have had with both the IRS and with the IL Department of Revenue.  She earned her Enrolled Agent credential in June 2000, having passed the IRS two day exam and will be working year round with Strauss Tax Service to offer our expertise in tax preparation, tax planning and tax consulting to our current and many new clients in both Downers Grove and Chicago.

Deb has a Bachelor of Science Degree from DePaul University, majoring in Accounting. She is a member of DePaul’s Ledger and Quill Society and also volunteers with the Medinah Shriners.  Besides taxes and more taxes, Deb relaxes by golfing, reading and traveling with her family in Darien.
